There was one on my block today, in the rain, with music going full blast. Seemed odd, but on the other hand it's not like I stop eating ice cream in winter.

Either that or it's aliens.

This ice cream truck has to be the one in DC. I believe I've seen this one a few times. Not only in the winter, but late at night as well. This guy is relentless. I mean what children are out after ten or eleven o'clock at night.

Right, check it: http://blogs.law.harvard.edu/anderkoo/2006/01/21/here-comes-frosty-the-other-one/

There didn't used to be a January thaw. Global warming is real.

OTOH, my favorite thing to do is to get an ice cream cone on the coldest night of the year and eat it outside. The ice cream actually freezes.
