You seem like funny guy...
Question: What kind of a name is Baratunde? Seriously. I know you're a comedian (though I'd never heard of you before today - mainly, I'm guessing, because I don't live in the USA - so is it a jocular nod to afrocentricism? I mean, cos, it sounds like an African name, like, say, Babatunde, but, unlike Babatunde, it doesn't actually mean anything does it...? Or is it a play on the words/names Barak and the popular Yoruba shortened name/verb (to return) "Tunde?"
Just asking.
Sorry,
"You seem like A funny guy..."
Um, I'm anal about stuff like that...
Baratunde essentially IS Babatunde. It was in a book of African names my
parents chose from and is an alternate though very uncommon, spelling.
Thanks for your interest. And yes, I am a very funny guy.
